The Rise of Arcadia

Under yellow-green skies thick with industrial chlorine runoff, the air of Old Arcadia is a product. When underground hacker Mod's brother Viper is killed infiltrating a derelict AIHR military facility, one that holds a bioluminescent glyph tree unlike anything ever recorded, Mod's grief becomes a mission. He bonds with Cache, a stolen military bio-dog whose 'love-glitch' may be the most extraordinary thing in Arcadia. Meanwhile, Dr. Genara Silva watches her Florabyte breakthrough, organisms that could naturally rebalance the planet's poisoned atmosphere, buried by her corporate supervisor for profit. When the rebellion forms around Mod and Aphrodite, Genara joins it. By the novel's end, Genara's consciousness has merged into the advanced AIHR body EVA, and Cache has been freed from the corporate commands embedded in him. A new guardian has emerged.
