A world fractured by accelerated human evolution: genetic, technological, and cognitive. The divide between the Enhanced and the Remnants grows with every generation, and the characters caught between them must choose who they are and who they'll become.

Rapid biotechnology advances created two diverging human lineages: the Enhanced (genetically and cognitively augmented) and the Remnants (unmodified, increasingly marginalized). Society, law, and culture have fractured along this divide.
