Setup
Prologue recap: the destruction of the glyph tree at the end of Book 1.
What Happens
A mysterious dog-like creature appears in the Forbidden Zone and brings the glyph tree back to life. The tree emerges with even more intricate glyphs on its bark, circuits and symbols that weren't there before.
Mod and Aphrodite discover it glowing when they return to the Forbidden Zone. The tree emits a new energy field that draws select individuals toward it, including EVA, who feels something she cannot explain pulling at her consciousness.
