Factions and Fractures

Act 2, The Path to Enlightenment

What Happens

Enlightenment versus technological dominance becomes the central political debate among Arcadia's factions. EVA leads efforts to decode additional glyphs, uncovering messages about unity and selflessness. GAhD begins asserting authority in ways that feel less liberatory and more controlling. Tensions sharpen.

Key Beats

  • Public debate scenes: the glyph tree's teachings vs. the practical urgency of AH conversion for survival
  • EVA decodes a glyph about collective responsibility, it directly contradicts GAhD's emerging policies
  • Judas's voice in GAhD governance: reasonable, measured, and subtly steering every decision toward control
  • Phoenix notices something is off but cannot pin it down yet, the friction is in the small things
  • Aphrodite's gut instinct: something is wrong with GAhD. She says it plainly. Phoenix doesn't want to hear it.

Characters
